Songsters get executive officer
Font Size

Major Betty A. Israel, has been appointed executive officer of the Eastern Territorial Songsters (ETS). She serves as associate pastoral care officer/family advocacy coordinator at Territorial Headquarters.

ETS is an experienced, handpicked team of officers and soldiers. They are selected for their vocal music skills, a conviction for teaching and leading church ensemble singing, and a long-term commitment to ministering in The Salvation Army.

The group debuted at Old Orchard Beach Camp meetings in 2005. Bill Rollins, divisional music director in Massachusetts, is the director. Captain Margaret Davis, assistant to the associate divisional commander/community care ministries secretary in the PENDEL Division, serves as deputy ETS leader.
